Comments about Eagle Creek All Terrain Money Belt:
My husband just spent an hour trying to figure this belt out and thought he was missing a piece or it was broken upon arrival. He was about to give up and send it back then he popped the plastic piece out and turned it around so the groves weren't grabbing correctly. The mechanism was installed backwards when it arrived rendering it useless so I'm concerned if anyone else has this problem. Hopefully it was just us. We think we will like it once we use it for our month long trip but the frustration wasn't worth it.

shortening problem

The biggest disappointment is how to shorten the belt. Can anyone tell me how to do it? The "traditional" way makes the zippered pocket find under the buckle :/

The new style buckle is a disappointment

I've used this belt for many years. Probably bought the first ones in the early 80's; I've bought several for myself and given them as gifts. I used to love this belt. Admittedly, the old style buckles broke which had to be covered under the lifetime warranty.This new style I've received as a replacement are a big disapointment. I'm pretty sure the buckle is more durable. But, it doesn't release

Love the belt, and much prefer it over another I have.The belt itself is very durable.However, after 15 months of use (not bad, but could be much better!), the buckle has failed due to the fine detail of the buckle's hinge mechanism. This aspect of the buckle needs to be much more robust to avoid/eliminate breakage.

I have been using this belt daily for the past 15 years.The hidden zipper pouch has carried my traveling/emergency cash during vacations and military deployments.I would recommend this belt to any traveler, the security of having a place to put extra cash in an unobtrusive location but still readily available is huge.
