I have used this travel bag for my necessities since it first came out.Camping or hotel it works great. All my toiletries are easily accessible and the outer zip pouches keep things dry when I use in a wet showering situation. I also have a wallaby but prefer this set up because it doesn't dangle around and I don't overload.Don't get me wrong, it holds a lot!I'm a girly girl and I like my lotions, creams and perfumes in addition the "basics".Oh, the mirror really does come out to use by hand. Thanks Eagle Creek, you make the very best products for travelers.

I have used the old pack-it on board for many, many years camping all over scandinavia and thought it was almost perfect. The only disadvantage was the coating on the inside starting to disintegrate in the end.

So I decided to buy the new bag... But what a mistake!
- There is a useless handle, not on top, but on the back of the bag which means you cannot hang the back somewhere and open it unless you want all the contents to fall out
- the hanger inside, once a slim metal hook, now a broad plastic thing, is basically always in the way. If you do not place it into its strap - you will need two hands for that... - you will soon regret this because the next time you open the bag the coated tip will move something out of the back.
- the "mirror" is a cheap piece of plastic - like a distorting mirror - and is scratched in no time (luckily I still have the "real" mirror from my old bag!)
- the zipper is basically impossible to open with one hand
- the bag does not stand very good by itself

All in all the concept of the new bag has changed for the worse. The old bag could be hung up and then opened from the top even with one hand. Also, it stood stable by itself.

To open and close this bag you would preferably need a (clean & dry) table and two hands. This is something you will rarely find if you do not stay in a hotel so for outdoor travel - I am sorry to say so, because I am very happy with other products from your company - this bag is basically useless.

Durable construction, easy to hang, and plenty of room. If anything, there is too much room in this bag as it fits all of my items with ample extra space left over.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It™ On Board:

This is an excellent travel kit. It's lightweight and holds plenty of travel essentials. It's cavernous, so it holds a lot, yet it's spacious enough that you're not digging around looking for stuff. I mentioned strength as a con: This makes it light for travel which is great, but when hung, it slightly folds in on itself. This is a VERY minor inconvenience. Again, great product.

I can't say enough. I had a competitor's product which was totally padded for some reason. This one gets rid of all that bulk and is so much lighter.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It™ On Board:

I have been looking so long for a toillet bag that I can organise but at the same time is light weight and not too bulky. As it has to fit easily in a carry on backpack but not take up too much space. Everything I looked at for years was either the right size but didnt have any zipper pockets or was too big and bulky.

But this toilet kit has done it! Especially if I am on a business trip I take quite a few supplies, and everything fits with room to spare. Something Which was a challenge in my old biag, which took up much more space.
