Comments about Eagle Creek Rincon Vita 65L:
I used this bag on a 3-week trip to Africa. I did some volunteer work, hiked Mt. Kenya (5-day trek), and went on safari. I loved the fit of this bag. It felt really secured to my body and the waist belt was really comfortable and helped me to bear the load. It was also nice to have the ability to lock my bag when I was traveling through Cairo and Nairobi. I also really like the separate bottom zippered compartment that fit my 0 degree bag - particularly because it was nice not to have to bother with it until I needed it - because I didn't need it everyday (just for about 7 days). Also the front load panel gave me easy access to all my items - which were (of course) packed in Pack-It. I loved all the compression straps on the outside of the bag enabled me to attach my bulkier items - which gave me quick access to everything I needed. And... drum roll: Zip-off daypack! Loved. Loved. Loved. So great to have a carry-on for the flight, daypack for around town or as my day bag on the mountain, but also the option to zip it on my larger (main) travel backpack or strap it to my front when the main pack was on my back. Honestly didn't know how ingenious this was until I wore it. Highly recommend the zip-off daypack option. And I know I already said this, but... I wouldn't have survived my trip without Pack-It™. Seriously helpful.
Worked perfectly

I got this pack for a two week trip to Colombia and it was fantastic. It was comfortable to wear and had locking points where I could lock my zippers and feel like my gear was safe. The zip off daypack proved useful for hikes and shopping through markets. The main bag held everything I needed for two weeks and had plenty of extra room for gifts on the way home. I used Eagle Creek's folders and cubes which helped a lot with the organization and made it really easy all the way around! We were on the go a lot during our trip and it never took me long to find what I needed and re-pack my bag to take off again! Highly recommend it.

It didn't make it out of the bedroom

I bought this for my daughter to take to France for a 5 week camp program.First off, when she packed it using the recommended list, it was extremely tight.I attribute this to the zip off day pack as you tend to pack that differently. That leaves 40l of the 65l that you think you are getting.Make sure you understand this when comparing sizes to more traditional packs.Second and more import
