Not as good as the previous version

Comments about Eagle Creek Sandman Eyeshade:
Sadly left my previous version on a plane last year. It had deep eye cups which kept the pressure off the eyes. When I woke my face looked fine and mascara intact! This one looks pretty but no eye cups and the edge of th mask leaves a big mark all around your eyes and there is pressure on the eyes. I gave it away.

While home on leave, I bought this out of frustration due too no sleep for days at a time.I Turned on my sound machine, put the Sandman on & out I went. The light coming in through the openings in our tent didn't matter. The nose flap really seal the light out. Best money I have ever spent.

Previous EC Night Mask way better

Really liked the previous version of Eagle Creeks Eye Mask. This new one while being made out of softer material is too bulky and interupts sleep.

This is the most comfortable and practical eye mask on the market. You would be hard pressed to find a better eye mask than this one. I initially bought mine for travelling and hiking. The added darkness gave me a better nights sleep, so much so, I started using it every night. There is something very comfortining about the microfleece. I can't sleep with out it. I think all travel accessory stores should abandon those cheap flimsy synthetic versions - the sandman eye shade is the best available. Thank you for being the only company willing to make something of quality in this range. I think the eye mask is an undervalued night time accessory!
