Comments about Eagle Creek Systems Go Duffel Pack 35L:

Love the separate shoe compartment. The bag could use one compartment inside the bag, but I know they want you to use their compartment system (separate purchase). I'm a small girl and needed a bag that could adjust to my frame. This bag does adjust well.

Comments about Eagle Creek Systems Go Duffel Pack 35L:

I am using this back pack for unique small items that I can carry onto the airplane some of which I want access to during the flight. My second bag is an eagle creek duffle bag. During my travels I will switch items back and fort between the two bags depending on the project at hand and the chance to leave one of the two at a fixed site while trekking out and back.

Comments about Eagle Creek Systems Go Duffel Pack 35L:

Overall very happy...agree good idea to have a small accessible pouch in interior for important stuff organization. The weakness (a little voice said when I bought it) not enough strength at the juncture of the shoulder harness and the bag. My strap attachment broke at the bottom after only 5 weeks of traveling.

All handles, strap attachments, etc. require GREATER strength at these stress points, otherwise great bag....Its been sent in for repair.

Comments about Eagle Creek Systems Go Duffel Pack 35L:

This was my First Eagle Creek purchase and this bag has definitely exceeded my expectations. I was in the market for a minimalist backpack for round the world travel- one without a thousand zippers and pockets everywhere, a solid color, lightweight, and durable. This backpack is fits the bill.

I was concerned at first about the material, thinking it looked a little cheap from the picture, but once it arrived my worries were laid to rest. This stuff is tough. I don't know how to describe it but it's kind of like a polyester book bag material with a rubbery coating, making it water resistant (which is awesome!). I have enough faith in it I would not have any fears of damage bringing it on a weekend backpacking trip. The zippers are big and easy to use, and the attachment straps on the front are perfect for water bottles, any extra gear, or small bags.

The most important thing to remember is that this is a duffel first, backpack second. Don't expect much organization in the body- just a laptop sleeve and a whole lot of space. This is a pro in my opinion. And the straps are minimal too so don't expect to carry 30 pounds and be comfy. But again, this is a good thing for both weight and functionality.

So to summarize, at barely over 2 pounds this pack is extremely lightweight for backpacking. It will not stick out like a sore thumb when traveling overseas (probably the most important reason I chose this). The quality is fantastic. The size is great, easily fitting a weeks worth of clothes and all your gadgets, and it's a carry on! I'm considering buying a second, just in case they stop making them by the time mine wears out. Seriously my favorite travel purchase by far.

Comments about Eagle Creek Systems Go Duffel Pack 35L:

I want to start by saying I believe Eagle Creek to have the best production and quality of product, and that's in comparison to Osprey, Mountain Hardwear, etc. The zippers are strong and easy to move (which matters if you compare to REI), the material used is top notch and feels absolutely indestructable and in my opinion, and it looks really stylish.

Where the bag fails, and this would be true of all Eagle Creek bags, there is absolutely no organization in the interior. I know this is because Eagle Creek wants everyone to use their packing system but I believe it to be a fatal flaw. All I ask for is a small pocket on the inside to be able to hold my important items and easily access them, ie: passport, money, headphones, sunglasses. I don't believe their packing system is designed to keep these items easily accessible in the least bit. In fact, I've returned two EC bags, bought an Osprey 65L pack and a Mountain Hardwear 35L pack instead.

I'm begging you Eagle Creek, PLEASE offer just a little bit of organization in the main packing area. It doesn't have to be a lot, we'll all still use the packing system because it has a lot of value, I promise. But it DOES NOT help with caring for the important things. Just a thought, I know you'd have at least two more sales from me.

Comments about Eagle Creek Systems Go Duffel Pack 35L:

I recently ordered this bag for a trip to Guatemala in a few days. I wanted a bag that was carry on size, but would let me pack enough for 10 days and wear comfortably. I packed enough clothes for 10 days, including hiking boots and still had some room. I'm excited to travel and not be worn down by giant luggage. Also, excited to take the pack on hiking/camping trips. I'll update after my trip, but I'm pretty sure this pack is going to help make it a success.
