Almost Perfect

This bag has EVERYTHING ... except the one thing that would make it perfect: NO SHOULDER STRAPS. The genius, designer fell asleep at the finish line. The bag invites you to drag it ( EZ enuff ) or lug it (NOT EZ, when filled ). The LOOK of a pack is there, so why not think one step further and give it the backpack option?!

Excellent bag; great company

The bag is exactly as pictured and demonstrated in the video. In my opinion its principal notable features are the very large interior space and high quality materials. There is no interior organizing pocket (which its immediate predecessor had). I would have preferred a few interior pockets rather than the slim exterior pocket which seems as if it is designed to hold a folded pillowcase and has little utility for me. I also would have appreciated (1) an exterior hook so that an extra bag could be carried and (2) a slightly longer extension handle so that a bag could be slid over it. But these are small details and other buyers might not agree. The bottom line is that the bag is terrific and exactly as pictured.

I'm an older lady and wanted all my Cruise items in one DEPENDABLE bag. This one is PERFECT & though very well made... also very LIGHT! Very pleased with my purchase! Plus I truly LOVE the packing cubes I bought from Eagle Creek TOO!

Upgraded husband from a duffle bag with no wheels to this!

C'mon ladies our men need big bags that are easy to navigate and pack in the back of the car for that long trip or check in at the airport. It's lightweight! Great for packing everything a man needs and he has extra room for our stuff too! You know what I mean, we pack too many clothes and shoes. This bag can handle it!

Gear Warrior 32... for long distance and long duration trips

5

We bought Gear Warrior 32s for each of us. Our trips are usually long distance, long duration and only sitting for a couple of days before we move again. We use the luggage packs to identify individual items such as shirts, pants, underwear, cold weather pants and tops, rain gear and dirty clothes. That way we can stand the suitcase up or lay it down and the stacking of the items makes easy ID of the items. We also use clearer packs to ID used clothes when washers are avaialble and time is minimal. The best feature of all is the covered zippers that prevent the luggage gorillas from breaking the zippers. The wheels can be great when transporting, even over soft ground. Just completed a 30 day trip with stops at almost twenty places to change locations. The luggage packs help organize and find items quickly when we arrive and have to gather our cameras to get outside quickly, yet allows us to change according to weather conditions. Your luggage packs make travel a lot easier to stay organized.

Too small: uneven interior depth

2

I bought this suitcase thinking it would similar to the ORV Trunk 30 just fewer pockets. Unlike the trunk which has an even depth in the main compartment, the GW's compartment is sloping. It's deepest at the base and appears to be about 1/3 of the depth at the top of the case. This shortcoming isn't evident in the photos or video. It might work for summer weight clothes, but for a one week trip during the cold season the Gear Warrior wouldn't hold my stuff.

Love it, and Love the No Matter What Warranty!

What more could you want in a bag? This thing is beautiful, it's tough, it's big but not too big, and it's got the No Matter What warranty. I've gone with the Gear Warrior and there's no turning back!
