I bought another Gear Warrior for me.

Great size for 5-6 day trip to ME. My wife loves the weight and the convenience of the 4 wheels. She has only used it twice, but you can see the construction is top notch and should stand up for many years.

Got this bag after enjoying my international Gear Warrior bag. Same great features. I especially love the wheels which roll smoothly and easily. Beautifully designed bag.

I bought 3 bags and like the AWD expanse that I got for my wife. I has a full zip all the way around and also more handles. I like the looks of the Gear Warrior and it is a well built bag but I wish it had more of the features of the Expanse. I have been a long time customer and have bought at least 10 bags or more over the years.

Lightweight and sturdy but with design flaws

4 wheels make it easy to roll but limit capacity. I have this in both 2 and 4 wheel configurations and can pack a lot more in the 2 wheeler. If anything is packed in the front flap pockets it is very hard to bend the flap open to access the main compartment. Also a handle on the bottom would make it easier to lift in and out of the overhead compartment on planes.

Solid and surdy

I go diving every year. This suitcase is big enough and strong enough to hold fins, wetsuit and BCD and still room to stuff things in between

Easy to pack and use

I bought the Gear Warrior AWD 26 because a competitor's wheels failed. These wheels have survived well, but Eagle Creek sells replacements if needed. It has a tough nylon that lasts and it is easy to pack.

Heavier than I expected

3

I'm all packed and ready to go but haven't used this suitcase on the road yet. First impression though -- it is heavier than my other larger suitcases. I bought this for the smaller size as travelling with my family with our favourite lighter suitcases posed a fit problem with the trunks of rental cars. So the weight I would say is the first negative I have encountered before hitting the road. Being lightweight is crucial when flying as there are weight restrictions.
