*First Impression review* Soon to leave on a 3 month climbing/fishing/ camping trip where the pack will be thrown in and out of a truck almost daily. Duffel will be holding all clothes/hygiene/ miscellaneous. Looks tough, packs well. I like the square construction as opposed to the typical rounded duffel; this allows you to overstuff generously and the zippers seem tough enough to deal with it. I packed three pillows in it and took it outside to test water resistance. Sprayed from all sides with a hose for 5 seconds each and let sit. Unzipped a few minutes later and definitely a lot of wet through. This material appears like a vinyl, waterproof fabric but it allows water to absorb quite readily. The video is a bit misleading spraying it down with a garden hose and expecting it to stay dry. In some reviews people were using this as car top luggage and for expeditions in the elements( I.e pack trips, float trips). I'd strongly suggest looking at dry bags instead of this. Otherwise, it looks like some durable travel luggage but.... time will tell!

Ditto my comments for the medium sized No Matter What duffel. After my experience with the medium size duffel I thought the smaller version might be better as a carry-on bag. And it is. Perfect size for easy carrying through an airport and for an overhead bin on the plane. Great size for an extra set of clothes, jackets and valuables in case your checked bag gets lost. Still holds a lot of stuff but easier to maneuver on the plane than the medium size duffel. I've been using this duffel for about a year now. I agree with some other reviewers that Eagle Creek could tone down the logo but as for functionality the bag can't be beat. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

The bag is very difficult to maneuver. The bottom has no support and the handle is too small.

I used this little duffle for three weeks in Europe as my carry on. It was terrific. It holds a lot more stuff than you'd think and was great to use to transport breakables back to the States. It is sturdy and the blue is very nice and muted. I would definitely recommend it for many used.

A rugged yet beautiful duffle! I load my gym items, laptop, purse, and nutrition, and bam I'm all put together. The material is of high quality and feels good on the shoulder too.

Superb. It was exactly what I was looking for my frequent trips. Light enough to be carried, once folded, inside another luggage. The material looks very solid. Hope the black bottom side is washable.

Damaged and torn, after one trip!!

I bought duffle this to hold my backpack and boots for a trip to Ireland. On the return trip, the duffle came in with one wheel casing torn right off and the fabric punctured and torn. I travel alot, I've owned Eagle Creek luggage for years, including two duffles (with the stronger material) that have been schlepped all over the place, including on the backs of yaks. My Eagle Creek luggage has survived all abuse in the past. But this piece is not up to Eagle Creek standards. The design of this duffle is poor! Go back to the old fabric! Figure out the wheel system better!
